Recently, some European service providers and a couple US service providers have chosen to add suppliers fees on top of the fees clients already pay for electronic invoicing services.

Asked about the move by some industry players to charge suppliers, iPayables CEO Ken Virgin stated, "I believe the competition is trying to maximize their existing revenues at the expense of their client's success. Clients are usually saving between $2 - $8 per invoice when they move to electronic invoicing. Their main goal should be to get as many suppliers electronic as possible.
